Granowetter
Len Granowetter is the CTO of MAK Technologies. He provides technical and strategy direction and oversight across MAK’s full suite of COTS simulation products and custom solutions. Over the course of 30 years, all with MAK, he has developed expertise in a wide variety of Modeling and Simulation technologies, including simulation scalability and interoperability, multi-domain simulation engines for both entity and aggregate-level simulation, 3D visualization, terrain, virtual and mixed reality, and mobile and cloud technologies.
Mr. Granowetter comes from an MIT-educated software-engineering background. He served during MAK’s early days as the lead architect and developer of its flagship interoperability products: VR-Link, and the MAK RTI, and still has plays a chief architect role on innovative products such as VR-Engage and MAK Legion.
Mr. Granowetter has served in many leadership roles in the Simulation Interoperability Standards Organization (SISO): As a leading drafter of the High-Level Architecture (HLA) standards; as SISO’s representative to the US DoD’s Live-Virtual-Constructive Architecture Roadmap Study; and most recently as the founder and Chairman of the Simulation Scalability Frameworks Study Group.
